Our Mission
The Orinda Historical Society (OHS) was established in 1970 and is a membership-based, 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit (Tax ID # 94-6204287) organization whose mission is to:
- Preserve the history of the Orinda, California area.
- Protect, preserve, and display artifacts, documents, and images in our museum.
- Educate our members and the general public about Orinda area history to enhance the quality of life within our community.
- Represent Orinda's historical interests to local government.
Museum Hours
The History Museum is now open every Saturday of each month from 11 am to 1 pm.
ADMISSION IS FREE
