Mission Statement

The Orinda Historical Society is a membership based non-profit organization whose mission is to:

• Preserve the history of the Orinda, California area.

• Protect, preserve and display artifacts, documents and images in our museum.

• Educate our members and the general public about Orinda area history
  to enhance the quality of life within our community.

• Represent Orinda historical interests to local government.

Orinda Historical Society was established in 1970.
